How to Convert and Import GoPro Hero 5 4K H.264 to Adobe PP 

Step 1. Install the Mac 4K Converter program and run it. Drag the 4K .mp4 files to the software. Or you can also click "Add" button on the top of the main interface to import video to the program. 


Step 2. Hit the Format box to select the specially designed video codec for editing 4K footage in Adobe Premiere Pro. 

To edit GoPro Hero 5 4K video in Premiere Pro, you are recommended to choose "Adobe Premiere/Sony Vegas -> MPEG-2(*.mpg" as the target format. 


Step 3. If you'd like to customize advanced audio and video parameters like Video Codec, aspect ratio, bit rate, frame rate, Audio codec, sample rate, audio channels, please turn to "Settings" page. Usually 1080p is the optimal setting for using in Avid MC. You can downscale GoPro Hero 5 4K to 1080p
