Issues Editing iPhone Videos in Premiere Pro CC/CS6 - Solution

Facing the problem when importing iPhone videos to Adobe Premiere? You can fix the issues via transcoding iPhone recordings to Premiere Pro most compatible format first.

Took some fantastic videos with my new iPhone 7, before sharing with my friends, I wanna edit these iPhone videos in Adobe Premiere Pro first. However, I just found it's a painful experience to import iPhone videos to Premiere Pro for editing. What's matter? How to fix the issue?

Searching high and low, based on someone's tutorial I know that the iPhone (including iPhone 7, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 4S, etc.) records in MPEG-4 and outputs its files as .MOV or .MP4 files (the container). Files are compressed using the h.264 codec (as opposed to AAC or Xvid and DivX usually found in .AVI containers). So the files you are getting out of iPhone are suited to be delivered as is, which is usually not what you want.

To make iPhone videos compatible with Adobe Premiere Pro CC/CS6, the easy option is to convert your iPhone videos to MPEG2. Then you can easily import those videos into Premiere Pro, edit ,and do anything you want there. To get the work done, here we need a workable video conversion program. Brorsoft Video Converter is highly recommended to help you achieve your goal smoothly.

With it, you can convert any video files including MOV, MP4, VOB, AVI, MPG, MPEG, etc. to seamlessly fit Adobe Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas, Pinnacle Studio, Avid Media Composer and more. If you're having problems with editing iPhone videos in Premiere and other editors, chances are you already installed this great utility. If not, download it now. And for Mac OS X users, please get Video Converter for Mac
